Unlocking Your Phone

Whether you want to change network or give someone else your smartphone, unlocking will be the thing you turn to.

Why Does it Matter Where Your Phone Gets Unlocked?

There are a few reasons why you should be careful where you take your phone to:

  • Legality

Some unlocking services use hacks to enter the networks database and remove the locks attached to your phone. Not only is this damgerous for you, it's also illegal. You should be very careful about this way of mobile unlocking.

  • Hacked Chips

Another way to bypass a network lock is to hack your mobile itself, this is also known as 'jailbreaking'. This is also illegal and makes your mobile phone vunerable to other hacks from external parties. Your mobile is equipped with a firewall and when you hack the chips on your phone, this can cause your firewall to be disabled, at least temporarily. This gives a window for external malware and trojans to gain access of your phone.

  • Peace Of Mind

Not only do you want to stay on the correct side of the law, you also want to be assured that your unlock has been handled by professionals and does not make your phone vunerable in other aspects. It's also important to note that if you choose one of the previous ways, it's possible your phone becomes 'locked' again after a software update.

It's best to not take the risk and bring it to someone who knows what they're doing and can tell you what method they use. We use a completely legal method and your mobile will stay unlocked permenantly. Meaning that you will still be safe from cyber attacks and your phone will stay unlocked with any future software updates you need to do.

Most of our unlocks only take a few days to process and are guaranteed to be unlocked after. They are relatively cheap and sometimes we may not even require you to leave your phone with us at all.
